Orangeandblackgetfit 5k Color Run, Newcomerstown OH
The Orangeandblackgetfit 5k Color Run is a timed 5 km event held on June 27, 2026 at Cy Young Memorial Park in Newcomerstown, Ohio. The event is presented as the 9th Annual Hero Hustle 5k Walk and Run and takes place during the Cy Young Festival weekend. Proceeds are designated to support Veterans, the orangeandblackgetfit team, and the Cy Young Festival Committee.
This year the timed run is conducted as a color run; participants are advised to wear a white shirt to be powdered along the course. The entry fee is $25 and includes a patriotic bay band headband and a day pass to the Cy Young Pool. Participants who register on race day may not be guaranteed a headband; prior online registration is noted as a way to secure a headband. Water stops will be provided on course and a food truck will be available after the race.
Awards are given to the top three men, top three women, and top three children aged 14 and under. The top finisher in each category will receive an autographed baseball from a 2012 National League Cy Young Award winner. Veterans and children under nine register for free with proof of eligibility; free registration does not include a headband. An inclement weather date is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026.
