Operation Veteran and Caregiver Support Hero Harvest Fun Run 5k
The Hero Harvest 5K is organized by Operation Veteran and Caregiver Support and takes place in Piqua, Ohio on October 3, 2026. The event is presented as a community fun run whose proceeds support programs that connect, empower, and assist veterans, families, widows, and active duty personnel.
The course follows the Great Miami River Trail from Lock 9 Park southward. The route will be marked and includes a water station at the half-way mark. Timing is provided by Can’t Stop Running Co.; results will be announced after the race at Lock 9 and posted on the organizer and timing company websites.
Registration details in the event listing note age-based fees and participant items: ages 13 and older pay $25, ages 5–12 pay $15; registered runners and walkers receive a race number, a t-shirt, and a snack. Registration must be completed by September 20 to guarantee a t-shirt. Pre-packet pickup is available at the Operation Veteran and Caregiver Support office at 1001 N County Rd 25A, Troy, OH 45373. Race-day check-in is held at Lock 9 Park, 125 E Water St, Piqua, OH 45356.
