Operation Veteran and Caregiver Support Hero Harvest Fun Run 5K
The Hero Harvest Fun Run is a 5K event held on October 3, 2026 at Lock 9 Park, 125 E Water St, Piqua, Ohio. The run is presented by Operation Veteran and Caregiver Support and supports programs for veterans, families, widows, and active duty members in all branches.
The course runs from Lock 9 south along the Great Miami River Trail. The route will be marked and a water station is located at the halfway point. The event is designated rain or shine.
Registration is available online. Entry fees are $25 for ages 13 and up and $15 for ages 5 to 12. Registered participants receive a race number, a t-shirt, and a postrace snack. Registration by September 20 guarantees a t-shirt.
Age divisions are separated by sex and cover these groups: 9 and under, 10 to 14, 15 to 18, 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and up. Awards are presented to the top male and female overall and to the top three finishers in each age division.
Race timing is provided by Can’t Stop Running Co. Results are announced after the race at Lock 9 and are posted online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
