5K Summer Classic – Operation Mud Run
The event is a two day mud run held on August 15 and August 16, 2026, at 8643 Shekell Rd, Moorpark, CA. The course distance is 3.1 miles (5K) and combines flat sections with rolling hills.
The route features 15 major obstacles plus additional surprise challenges, and includes deep mud pits and steep climbs. Multiple start waves are offered across each event day to manage participant flow. Rinse stations and changing areas are available at the finish area.
Participants may enter solo or as part of a team; no prior obstacle racing experience is required. After the run, a Basecamp area provides food trucks, vendors, music, and a post race gathering space. Tickets are listed at $75.00 and are non refundable.
