2027 Operation Enduring Warrior 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon
This event offers three distances along the C&O Canal at Great Falls Maryland near the Potomac River. The course follows a light gravel dirt road, has minimal elevation change, and uses out-and-back routes that pass scenic river and waterfall areas.

The race is chip timed and provides a finisher’s medal and a technical Drifit event shirt. Water stations are placed as follows: one station on the 5k course, four stations along the 10k, and seven stations along the half marathon, with Gatorade available at some stations. Restrooms are located near the roundabout. Packet pickup is available at the event and there is no on-site race registration.
Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Endurance, and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Winter Series. A virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend in person. Live race results will appear on Athlinks and via a QR code at the event; final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race.
