2026 Operation Enduring Warrior 5k, 10k, & Half
This event offers three distances that run near the Potomac River at Great Falls Maryland and along the C&O Canal. The courses use a light gravel dirt road with minimal elevation change and are configured as out and back routes. Race registration does not include the park entrance fee.

Points from these events count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Endurance, and Back of the Pack Series and toward a Winter Series. A virtual race option is offered for those who cannot attend in person. Walkers are welcome.
Participants receive a finisher’s coin, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. Live results are published during the race and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the event. There will be no on-site race registration for this event; packet pickup is available at the venue.
Aid stations are provided as follows: seven water stations on the half marathon, four on the 10k, and one on the 5k; some stations will offer Gatorade. Restrooms are available near the roundabout. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in multiple age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
