Opening Day 5K 2026
The Opening Day 5K is an athletic event held at Deep Meadow Park in Horsham, Pennsylvania. The event marks the start of the racing season and serves as a fundraiser for The Miracle Field of Horsham, an organization dedicated to providing inclusive sports environments for individuals of all abilities.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5 km race
- 1 mile walk
The course is situated within a park setting, with both the start and finish lines located inside Deep Meadow Park. The route guides participants through the trail systems of both Deep Meadow and Carpenter parks.
All registered individuals receive an event t-shirt, though specific sizes are only guaranteed for those who register before March 13, 2026. The first 100 participants to complete the course receive a medal. Following the conclusion of the event, age category results are made available online, and participants have the option to print a commemorative certificate.
