ONT’s 5K at the Runway : event overview
ONT’s 5K at the Runway takes place on February 14, 2026, at the National Guard Hangar, 2180 E Avion St., Ontario, CA 91761. The event program includes a 5K run, a one-mile Family Walk and a free Community Event in the National Guard Hangar. The Community Event features airport vendors and partners, the ONT Paw Squad, food trucks and kid’s activities.
The running course is a three-lap route on the south side of the airfield. The site is described as low-lying and flat and runs parallel to the San Gabriel Mountains, with views of Mount Baldy. A portion of event proceeds supports the USO at Ontario International Airport; the 2025 event raised nearly $54,000 for the local USO, which serves thousands of service members and is described as the third largest USO in the country.

Registration includes one event T-shirt, a medal (awarded on a first-come, first-served basis) and one free drink at the Brewery X Biergarten (21+; ID required). Packet pick-up is scheduled for February 13 (3:00 to 7:00 p.m.) and on the day of the event (6:30 a.m.).
