ONT’s 5K at the Runway : event overview
ONT’s 5K at the Runway is scheduled for February 14, 2026, at Ontario International Airport. The event is organized by Ontario International Airport and takes place at the National Guard Hangar, 2180 E Avion St., Ontario, CA. It is the fourth annual edition and includes the following distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1-mile Family Walk
A portion of proceeds supports the USO at Ontario International Airport.
Race and community details
The running course is a three-lap route on the south side of the airfield. The airfield is described as low-lying and flat and runs parallel to the San Gabriel Mountains, with views of Mount Baldy. After the run there is a free Community Event in the National Guard Hangar open to the public. The Community Event will feature airport vendors and partners, the ONT Paw Squad, food trucks, and children’s activities.
Registration includes one event T-shirt, a medal (distributed first come, first served), and one free drink at Brewery X Biergarten for participants 21 and older who present ID.
