Holiday Half Marathon & 5K : Fairplex, Pomona
The Holiday Half Marathon & 5K is scheduled for December 20, 2026 at the Fairplex in Pomona, CA. Organizers present the event as a holiday festival experience with expanded decorations and seasonal scenery visible in the distance.
The event includes multiple race options:
- Half Marathon
- 5K Run/Walk (Glow 5K)
- Kid's Penguin Waddle Run
Bib pickup is available before and on event day. Participants receive an email with an individual code for pickup and must present a photo ID and the QR code to collect race bibs. One pre-event pickup location is listed as SnailsPace at 1040 E Imperial Hwy #F2, Brea, CA.
A Penguin Club loyalty program will continue and will honor returning participants. The program notes that participants who have run the race two years in a row or at least three years qualify for the Penguin Club. Golden and Triple Snowflake challenge offerings are on pause for the 2026 season; organizers indicate holding the event on a single day limits the ability to run multiple events for those challenges.
The event schedule includes a half marathon a 5K and a kids fun run as separate race offerings on the event date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
