Overview
OnondagaMan is a multi-sport event held in Jamesville, New York, situated in the heart of Central New York. This athlete-centered event is organized by Wilson Endurance Sports and features a variety of endurance disciplines. The race is open to individuals, relay teams of two or three people, and paratriathletes. Participation is limited to a maximum of 300 athletes.
Course Options
The event offers several race formats to accommodate different preferences:
- Long Course Triathlon: Features a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run.
- Intermediate Triathlon: Features a 0.6 mile swim, 25 mile bike, and 6.5 mile run.
- Long Course AquaBike: Consists of a 1.2 mile swim and a 56 mile bike ride.
- Intermediate AquaBike: Consists of a 0.6 mile swim and a 25 mile bike ride.
Event Details
The event is designed with a grassroots focus and does not enforce cut-off times for participants. The bike and run courses include aid stations stocked with real food. On-site amenities include music, a beer garden, and event merchandise. The venue is located at 3992 Apulia Road, providing access for participants traveling from nearby Syracuse, Albany, or Buffalo via I-90 and I-81.
