About the race
The Only In Harlem 5K Run/Walk is presented as a community running event on Randall's Island Field #10, 130 Central Road, New York, NY 10035. Registration is not yet open; the organizer offers an option to receive a notification when online registration becomes available.
On-course amenities include live results, an Only In Harlem branded race number, music, refreshments, raffles provided by Brooks, and portable toilets in the start/finish area. There is no formal bag check; an informal bag drop will be available but the event does not accept responsibility for lost or stolen items. Public bathrooms are located a few minutes' walk from the start and finish.
Awards recognize the top overall finisher in male, female, and nonbinary categories. Bib pickup is available in person at the event location and virtual bibs are shipped; shipped bibs may arrive between one week before and one week after the event. Registering at least three weeks before the event makes a personalized race number possible.
The course is listed as Wappinger and Munsee Lenape Lands on Randall's Island, with partnerships noted with community initiatives focused on Indigenous land acknowledgment and inclusion.
