Only In Harlem 5K Run/Walk
Only In Harlem is a community 5K run and walk held on Randall's Island in New York City. The event features a 5K distance and includes live timing and online results, race numbers with Only In Harlem branding, music, and refreshments. There are public bathrooms within a few minutes walk of the start and finish areas, plus porto potties at the race site.
The event offers an informal bag drop; organizers state they cannot assume responsibility for lost or stolen items. Raffles are provided by Brooks Running. Awards are given to the top finisher overall for male, female, and nonbinary categories.
Proceeds are split between two beneficiary organizations, Harlem Run and the Never Stop Running Foundation. The event acknowledges that the course is on Wappinger and Munsee Lenape lands and lists partners involved with Native lands recognition and inclusion efforts.
Bib pickup is available in person at the event location and bibs can also be shipped to participants who select the virtual option.
