Birdland 5K (Onion River Outdoors)
The Birdland 5K is scheduled for May 30, 2026 at Montpelier's North Branch Park. The course travels across rolling singletrack through forested hills and alongside small brooks. Trails will be marked and signed for runner safety, though they remain open to bikes and pedestrians.
The event uses a mass start for all loop distances and all categories. Organizers will offer day of registration and there is a pre registration fee and a higher day of fee. Top three finishers in each category will receive store gift cards and the top three overall will receive a unique prize.
In the spirit of conservation this race is cupless. Participants may bring a personal bottle or a hydration pack; the event promotes plastic free practices.
