One Mile With a Smile 12 Hour Endurance Run
The event is a timed endurance run held at Oak Grove Lake Park in Chesapeake, VA. Runners complete multiple laps of a loop measuring 1.5 mile over the course of 12 hours, and may run as much or as little as they choose.
The course is tree lined, flat, and completely unpaved. It passes lake-side and forested areas where wildlife may be present and offers a mixture of panoramic water views and wooded scenery. There is one aid station located at the start area.
Field size is limited to 60 runners and there will be no waitlist. Registration closes on July 25. Questions can be directed to the race director. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
