One Last Tri
One Last Tri is the final triathlon of the season held at White Bear Lake County Park in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. The event offers multiple race formats including Sprint and Olympic triathlons, Aqua Bike options, and relay teams, plus a new collegiate division.
The courses include a shortened swim, a rolling hill bike route that passes through local horse farms and vineyards, and a flat lakeside run along White Bear Lake. Distances offered include:
- Sprint: 400 yard swim, 13.6 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Olympic: 800 yard swim, 23.3 mile bike, 6.2 mile run
- Aqua Sprint: 400 yard swim, 13.6 mile bike, no run
- Aqua Olympic: 800 yard swim, 23.3 mile bike, no run
The event is open to athletes as young as age 10 when racing with a parent or guardian. Starts use a time trial and self seeded format, and triathletes are asked to wear their timing chip on the left ankle. Free parking is available in the park and nearby overflow areas. A post race barbecue and awards ceremony follow the races, with awards for overall and age group finishers and a separate collegiate division award structure.
