One Last Tri
One Last Tri is the final triathlon of the season held at White Bear Lake County Park in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. The event offers Olympic and Sprint triathlon distances, aqua bike options, relay teams, and a collegiate division. All ages and abilities are welcome; athletes as young as age 10 may race when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Race formats include:
- Sprint: 400 yard swim, 13.6 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Olympic: 800 yard swim, 23.3 mile bike, 6.2 mile run
- Aqua Sprint: 400 yard swim, 13.6 mile bike, no run
- Aqua Olympic: 800 yard swim, 23.3 mile bike, no run
The course description notes a shortened swim, a lengthened bike through rolling hills and local horse farms and vineyards, and a flat lakeside run along White Bear Lake. Starts use a time trial and self-seeded format. Race packets are distributed at Ramsey County Beach on race day and include bibs, a timing chip, and optional event shirts. Athletes should wear the timing chip on the left ankle.
Additional event details include free park and overflow parking, free professional photography on site, a post-race barbecue, and an awards ceremony with overall and age group prizes.
