Event Details
Proceeds from the event benefit several local organizations. These include the Decatur County Community Foundation, Decatur County United Fund, On Eagle’s Wings Memorial Scholarship Fund, GCHS Wrestling Program, and St. Mary’s School.
Registration and Fees
The entry fee for the 5K Run is $20. The Kids Fun Run also has an entry fee of $20. Both fees include a t-shirt if ordered by August 11. Prices are subject to increase after August 16, 2026.
Awards
Awards are given for the 5K Run. These include overall male and female awards. Age group awards are also presented in the following categories: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & Over.
Additional Information
Early packet pickup is available on Friday, August 22, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Church. Race day packet pickup and registration occur near the festival stage under a long white tent. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
