Mill Race Marathon
The Mill Race Marathon in Columbus, Indiana is an annual race day that includes a Boston qualifying marathon, a half marathon, a 5K, and a free Kids Fun Run. The courses run through architecturally renowned downtown Columbus and scenic park trails and feature minimal elevation gain.

- 26.2 miles Marathon, Boston qualifying course
- 13.1 miles Half marathon, described as flat and fast

- Kids Fun Run, free to participants
The event offers a 17-week, free training program that begins May 30, 2026. Weekly training calendars are emailed to registered participants so they can follow the program remotely. Classroom sessions last about 30 minutes and are followed by group run or walk segments; after eight weeks classroom sessions end and long runs join the Columbus Running Club. Training topics include running tips, shoes and attire, core strength, cross-training, stretching, injury prevention, and nutrition.
Marathon and half marathon participants are eligible for a vehicle raffle; entries require the participant to be aged 18 or older and present to win. The event is supported by local sponsors and community partners and benefits Healthy Communities and the Columbus Parks Foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
