Mill Race Marathon - Columbus, Indiana
The Mill Race Marathon is a race weekend held in Columbus, Indiana on Saturday, September 26, 2026. The event includes a Boston qualifying marathon plus a half marathon, a 5K, and a Kids Fun Run. The courses run through architecturally noted downtown Columbus and scenic park trails and are described as having minimal elevation gain and a generally flat, fast profile.

A free, 17 week group training program begins May 30, 2026. The first eight weeks include classroom sessions of about 30 minutes followed by a group run or walk; topics covered include running tips, shoes and attire, core strength, cross-training, stretching, injury prevention, and nutrition. After week eight participants join longer group runs with the Columbus Running Club. The training coach distributes a weekly training calendar by email so remote participants can follow along.
