Mill Race Marathon : Columbus, Indiana
The Mill Race Marathon is a race weekend in Columbus, Indiana that includes a Boston-qualifying marathon, a half marathon, a 5K, and a free Kids Fun Run. The courses run through downtown Columbus and scenic park trails and are described as flat with minimal elevation gain.
Distances offered:
- Marathon: 26.2 miles, Boston qualifying

Marathon and half marathon participants are eligible for a raffle prize of a Cummins powered Dodge Ram pickup truck; entrants must be 18 or older and present to win. The event is supported by community sponsors and benefits Healthy Communities and Columbus Parks Foundation. Weekend activities and race weekend events are part of the schedule.
A free, 17 week group training program is offered and begins May 30, 2026. Classroom sessions last about 30 minutes and are followed by group runs; after eight weeks the group shifts to longer Saturday runs. The first eight weeks cover topics such as running tips, shoes and running attire, core strength, cross training, stretching, injury prevention, and nutrition.
