Mill Race Marathon & Half Marathon 2026
The event takes place Friday, September 25, 2026 and Saturday, September 26, 2026 in Columbus, Indiana at 500 Washington St. Multiple race options are offered across the two days, including youth and kids activities.
Distances and race types:
- Marathon

- Student 5K (high school or younger)
- Kids Race at 5th Street and Lindsey
Each distance has an enforced minimum pace: the marathon requires a 15 minute per mile pace, the half marathon a 17 minute per mile pace, and the 5K a 21 minute per mile pace. The full, half and 5K have an 8 minute grace period at the start.
Registration fees and options vary by event and registration deadline. Examples of price ranges in 2026 are: Marathon $85 to $120, Half Marathon $75 to $105, 5K $30 to $50, Student 5K $12 to $20. Upgrade and downgrade options are available between distances with fees that depend on timing; transfers into races are free with a transfer code. Transferring an existing entry out to a new registrant carries a $5 transfer-out fee through September 24, 2026.
Shirt availability is guaranteed through September 17; after that date a shirt is guaranteed but specific sizes are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. A kids shirt-only option is available with a sizing deadline. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
