Omaha Marathon
The Omaha Marathon is a locally run event presented by the Omaha Running Club and scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2026. The event includes multiple race distances and uses USATF certified courses that cover downtown Omaha.

The full marathon serves as the 2026 RRCA State Marathon Championship and is a Boston Marathon qualifying event. Chip timing is provided for all participants and official results are posted online and emailed to entrants.
Training options are offered by the Omaha Running Club, including a 20 week distance clinic that begins in April and continues into mid October, plus a women only 11 week program. Packet pickup occurs on the Saturday before the race at Millwork Commons in downtown Omaha; race day packet pickup is not available.
On-course support includes aid stations approximately every 2 to 3 miles supplying Gatorade and water in 6 oz cups, with GU available around mile 16.75 for marathoners. The finish area provides larger beverage bottles and post race food items. There is a six hour time limit for the marathon and a four hour time limit for the half marathon. Gear check is not offered. Designated parking is available near the start and finish areas. Pets, baby strollers, skateboards and rollerblades are not permitted on the courses.
Awards include finisher medals, announced overall winners, and age group awards available for pickup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
