Omaha Marathon - Presented by the Omaha Running Club
The Omaha Marathon is a locally organized race weekend hosted by the Omaha Running Club. The event features multiple distances and uses USATF certified courses that travel through downtown Omaha. The full Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifying race and serves as the 2026 RRCA State Marathon Championship.

Registered participants receive event apparel, a finisher's medal, a branded gift and post-race refreshments. All events are chip timed and results are emailed to participants and posted online. Pacers are available for runners who wish to follow a pace group.
There is a six hour time limit for the Marathon (approximately a 13:44 minute per mile pace) and a four hour time limit for the Half Marathon. Aid stations are placed approximately every 2.0 to 3.0 miles and provide water and Gatorade, with GU available for Marathoners near mile 16.75. Gear check is not offered.
Additional event details include a 20 week Marathon and Half Marathon training clinic that runs from April into mid October and an 11 week women only program. Packet pickup is held the day before the race at Millwork Commons in downtown Omaha. The Finish Area is in a park setting near Miller's Landing next to the Missouri River.
