Event Overview
The 36th Omagh Half Marathon takes place in March. The event offers a half marathon and a 5k run. The half marathon is open to runners and walkers, with a separate wheelchair category. The start and finish for both races is the Omagh Leisure Complex.
Event Details
- Half Marathon: Offered as a run, walk, or wheelchair event.
- 5k Run: A shorter running event.
Chip timing is used. There are race pacers for the half marathon to help runners target specific finish times. Street entertainment is provided along the course. After the race, refreshments and a post-race massage are available.
Finishers of the half marathon receive a T-shirt. All finishers, including those in the 5k, receive a medal.
The event expects a large number of participants. It is organized by the Omagh Harriers running club.
