Oliver Triathlon 2026
The Oliver Triathlon takes place over two days, on June 6 and 7, 2026, in Oliver, British Columbia. The event features eight different races across the weekend.
The Saturday, June 6 events are:
- Sprint
- Standard (Olympic distance)
- Standard Aquabike
- Standard Relay
The Sunday, June 7 events are:
- Long Course (Half-Ironman)
- Long Course Aquabike
- Long Course Relay
- Mixed Team Relay
The Mixed Team Relay also serves as the 2026 BC Provincial Championships for that discipline.
The course begins with a swim in the waters of Tucelnuit Lake, where early June temperatures typically range from 18 to 22°C. The bike leg travels along quiet country roads past vineyard scenery. The run portion goes through neighbourhoods and alongside the Okanagan River.
All athletes must have valid race-day insurance. Triathlon BC members (or members of reciprocating provincial sport organizations) are covered by their annual membership. Non-members must pre-purchase a Triathlon BC one-day membership.
Registration includes several items, such as a silicone swim cap, body marking tattoos, aid stations, post-race food, a finisher medal, and a technical race garment. On-site bike technicians and professional medical staff are present.
Package pick-up occurs on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Mandatory bike check-in for Sunday events takes place on Saturday afternoon. Award ceremonies are held on both Saturday and Sunday.
Event entries are non-refundable. Transfers to other events or to another athlete are possible under specific conditions and with applicable fees. The event is associated with fundraising for the Rotary Club of Oliver and the ALS Society of BC. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
