Half Corked Marathon
Half Corked Marathon takes place May 28 to 31 2026 and marks its 18th year. The main race is scheduled for Saturday May 30 and the 2026 course measures approximately 20-24 km, routing through the Golden Mile and Black Sage benches and including sections alongside the Okanagan River. Winery stations are located along the route offering wine samples and there are water stations for runners.
The event is endorsed by BC Athletics and participants should be able to run 5 km over some inclines on rugged terrain to finish within the allocated time. A Sag Wagon is available to assist and transport participants who do not complete the mid-way section. Registration requires in-person check-in the day before the race with two pieces of government issued identification and a signed waiver. All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Race registration includes transportation to the start and from the finish from Oliver, Osoyoos and Penticton, a welcome bag, tasting bites and wines along the course, and a picnic lunch at the finish.
The finish area at Oliver Community Park hosts a finish line party with live music, food trucks, an artisan market and wine tastings. The weekend also features additional ticketed experiences: a Tailgate Social in the vineyards, a Block Party across a vineyard block, and Dinner at the Farm, a multi-course seated meal hosted by winemakers. Costumes are welcome and prizes are awarded for best individual costume, best team and best skit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
