Half Corked Marathon - Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country
The 18th annual Half Corked Marathon takes place May 28-31, 2026 in Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country. The race course is about 20-24 km and routes through vineyard and valley areas including the Golden Mile and Black Sage Benches, with sections along the Okanagan River. Winery sampling stations are situated along the route and the event finishes at Oliver Community Park, where a finish-line party and wine tastings are held. A costume contest will award prizes for best individual costume, best team and best skit.
Registration, tickets and race rules
Tickets are distributed by lottery and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Registration must be completed in person on the Friday before the race. Participants must be at least 19 years old on race day. The event is endorsed by BC Athletics and participants should be able to run at least 5 km on uneven terrain; the course involves rugged terrain and inclines. Participants are allowed a maximum of 3.5 hours to complete the course. A sag wagon is available to transport those who do not reach the midway point or who are removed for unsafe conduct. Race registration includes transportation to the start and from the finish, a welcome bag, on-course tastings and a picnic lunch at the finish. Additional ticketed weekend events include a Tailgate Social, a Block Party and Dinner at the Farm; these events provide transportation and have limited dietary accommodations.
