Half Corked Marathon - Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country
The Half Corked Marathon takes place May 27 to 30 2027 and is the 19th edition of the event in the Oliver Osoyoos wine region. The final route is to be determined and is expected to be about 20 to 24 km, routing runners through vineyards and valleys on the Black Sage Road and the Golden Mile, with sections along the Okanagan River. Winery stations are placed along the course and the event concludes with a finish line party at Oliver Community Park featuring wine sampling, live music and food vendors.
The weekend includes additional ticketed events separate from race entry: a vineyard Tailgate Social, a Block Party at Nostalgia Wines on Black Sage Road, and Dinner at the Farm at Domaine Artema. These events include transportation from Oliver, Osoyoos or Penticton and require separate tickets.
Ticket and participation conditions are explicit: tickets are non refundable and non transferable, participants must be 19 years or older, and in person registration is required on the Friday before the race. Endorsed by BC Athletics, participants should be able to run at least 5 km over uneven terrain and some incline to complete the course within the allocated time. Runners have a maximum of 3.5 hours to finish and a sag wagon will assist those unable to reach the mid point. Registration includes transportation to the start and from the finish, a welcome bag, wine and tasting bites along the course, and a picnic lunch at the finish.
