Event overview
The Half Corked Marathon is the 18th annual running event in Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country, held across the weekend of May 28–31, 2026, with the main run on Saturday, May 30, 2026. The course is approximately 20–24 km and weaves through vineyard and valley areas including the Golden Mile and Black Sage Benches, with sections along the Okanagan River. The route includes winery stations and finishes at Oliver Community Park, where a post-race party features live music, food trucks, an artisan market and wine sampling. A picnic lunch and tastings along the course are included with race registration. Costume contests award prizes for best individual, best team and best skit.
Registration, logistics and rules
Entry is primarily by lottery; a general lottery date is listed as November 2, 2025. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Participants must be 19 years or older on race day and register in person on the Friday before the race. The event is endorsed by BC Athletics and participants should be able to run at least 5 km over some inclines and rugged terrain. Participants have a maximum of 3.5 hours to complete the course; a support vehicle (Sag Wagon) will transport those who do not reach the mid-way point. Transportation to the Start Line and from the Finish Line from Oliver, Osoyoos and Penticton is included in registration.
