Old Town Street Festival 5K, Leander, TX
The Old Town Street Festival 5K takes place on June 6, 2026 and is hosted by the Leander Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center as the event's 12th annual edition. The race is chip timed and starts in the heart of Old Town Leander, touring through streets of the area. The course is described as mostly flat with no hills or rough terrain and the route begins and finishes at Willis and Bagdad in Old Town Leander. Participation is limited. Every 5K entrant receives a quality shirt and a custom color finisher's medal. The event is stroller friendly and dog friendly; all dogs must be on leashes and only friendly dogs are allowed.
Packet pickup is available at the Leander Chamber of Commerce in the days before the event and on the morning of the event, with the pickup address listed as 103 N West Dr, Leander, TX 78641. Packets must be collected by June 13 if a participant cannot attend but still wants a medal. An awards ceremony follows the race with a first place gold medal awarded to the top finisher in each age category for male and female. Age categories include 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Parking is available in nearby LISD lots and along the streets of Old Town; the lots are accessed via S. West Drive from Crystal Falls Parkway and are not accessible from 183.
