Event Overview
The Big Run is a community running event taking place on June 6, 2026, to celebrate Global Running Day. This year, the event features activities in three separate locations: Round Rock, Georgetown, and Leander. Participants can choose their preferred location during the registration process.
The event offers a specific distance for all participants:
- 5K (3.1 miles) untimed fun run
Location and Course Details
The Round Rock segment of the event starts at The Rabb House, located at 151 N A.W. Grimes Blvd. Participants follow a specific 5K route designated for this location. While strollers are permitted on the course, dogs are not allowed at this event. There is no minimum age requirement to participate, and walkers are welcome provided they can complete the distance within the one-hour time limit.
Registration and Amenities
Registration options include a choice between a standard entry or an entry that includes a tech unisex t-shirt. To receive a shirt in a specific size, registration must be completed by April 7. The first 100 individuals to register for each of the three race locations receive a medal.
Packet pickup is organized the day before the event at the respective Fleet Feet locations in Round Rock, Georgetown, and Leander. There is no registration available on the day of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
