Oktoberfest Half Marathon - College Station, TX
The event is organized by the BCS Marathon Race Series and takes place in College Station with the finish located inside Kyle Field at Texas A&M University. The event offers these distances:

Aid stations are placed every 1.5 miles and provide water and Gatorade. Aid stations at 4.5 miles and 10.5 miles also include fueling items such as energy gels.
Post race amenities follow an Oktoberfest theme and include local craft beers, food with Slovacek's Sausage, live music, and open space for rest. All finishers receive a custom finisher's medal, a finisher shirt intended for regular wear, and a custom beer glass that is used for on site beer service.
All race proceeds support Mercy Project, a local nonprofit working to eradicate child slavery in Ghana through economic development and sustainability.
Training plans for both the Half Marathon and the 10K are provided. Plans include weekly running schedules, recommended cross training options such as elliptical, swimming, cycling, and pool running, and designated rest weeks to aid recovery.
