Oktoberfest Beer and Brats 5K
The event is an Oktoberfest-themed running event in San Marco Square with a 5K and a one mile run/walk. The route follows the scenic tree-lined streets of San Marco and the start and finish are at San Marco Square.

Each entrant receives a designer race shirt, a custom plastic beer mug, and a finisher medal. After finishing, participants are offered a complimentary beer and a bratwurst; Tepeyolot Cerveceria Brewery will provide a specially brewed Festbier for the event. Marathon Photos Live will take individual finish-line photos available for viewing and purchase.
The 5K uses chip timing with live results. Prize money of $200, $150, and $100 will be paid to the top three men and women overall. Age-group awards are given to the top three in divisions ranging from 10 and under through 80 and over. Discounted entry fees apply for participants 17 and under and 65 and over.
Packet pickup is available at selected 1st Place Sports locations on Thursday, October 16 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday, October 17 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM; unclaimed packets will be available on race day at San Marco Square starting in the afternoon.
