Okemos 5K Wolf Run and Walk
The 5K Wolf Run & Walk begins and finishes at the Okemos High School Athletic Stadium in Okemos, Michigan. The course leaves the stadium and follows a mixture of closed roads, trails, and sidewalks. A full 5K is completed by running two loops of the course. Official timing for the 5K is provided by the Michigan Running Foundation.
Registered participants who sign up by August 14 are guaranteed an exclusive event t-shirt and a “Wolf Run 2026” participation medal. The 5K entry includes invitation to stadium viewing of shorter races and the event pep rally. 5K registrants may also take part in the Family Mile Run.
Awards for the 5K are sponsored by DICK's Sporting Goods. Overall male and female winners receive a $25 gift card; age group winners receive a $10 DICK's Sporting Goods gift card. Age groups range from 10 and under through 70 plus.
Proceeds from the Wolf Run support P.A.W.S., the Okemos High School student organization that manages the district mascot program. Funds support mascot costume maintenance, student leadership development, community outreach, school spirit initiatives, and planned projects such as an art initiative and a district beautification club.
