The Ohio Mother’s Day run is scheduled for Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Scioto Audubon Metro Park, 500 Maier Pl, Columbus, OH 43215. The event offers in-person and virtual options. Distances available include:
- 1 mile
- 5k
- 10k
- 15k
- Kids Fun Run (with and without swag)
- Virtual 1 mile, 5k, 10k, and 15k
The event is chip timed and provides instant results. The run is planned to take place rain or shine, though it may be delayed for lightning or other dangerous conditions.
Participant information
All in-person participants in the 1 mile, 5k, 10k, and 15k receive a choice of one item: a tutu (nine colors), a soft race t-shirt, a long sleeve shirt, a hooded sweatshirt, or an extra flower and vase. Participants also receive a custom branded race bib, snacks, and refreshments. Everyone will receive a flower in a vase in a choice of color and shape. Youth t-shirts will be purple and youth hoodies will be heathered charcoal.
Organizers request that bibs be visibly worn on the front to ensure accurate timing. Strollers are allowed. Dogs are permitted and a dog water station will be available at the finish area. Headphones and personal audio devices are allowed but are strongly not recommended; participants must ensure they can hear course marshals and hazards.
