Event overview
Ogwen | Yr Helgi Du 2026 is a mountain trail race held on 12 April 2026 at Plas y Brenin, Capel Curig, in the Ogwen Valley of Eryri (Snowdonia). The event is organised by Always Aim High Events and is presented as a skyrunning-style challenge on technical mountain terrain. The course crosses the Carneddau range, and the longest route also includes sections of the Glyderau range.

- 25K
Course and support
Routes use marked mountain trails with technical sections and ridge running on higher ground. The event provides on-course support such as friendly marshals, signage, energy stations, support vehicles and Mountain Leader support. Chip timing and online results are used for race timing. Finishers receive a themed memento.
Event village and accessibility
The event village at Plas y Brenin includes music, commentary, shopping, food, drink and toilets. Race information and event services are available in both English and Welsh.
