The 47th Annual Oglesby Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025 in Oglesby, Illinois. The event starts and finishes at the Elks Lodge, 800 East Walnut Street, Oglesby, IL 61348. The race program includes a main run and a children’s fun run for participants 12 and under that follows the Turkey Trot.

Logistics and entry
The entry fee for the 3 Mile Run/Walk is $30; the price increases after November 25, 2025. Pre-race packet pickup is available Wednesday, November 26 at the Oglesby Elks (800 E Walnut). Limited race day registration and check-in are available at the event. First 900 registered participants receive a commemorative stocking cap (beanie).
Age-group awards are offered for male and female divisions in overall and multiple age brackets, including 9 and under, 10-12, 13-16, 17-19, and five-year bands up to 75+. Post-race refreshments include free soda and Thanksgiving dressing; beer is available for those 21 and older with ID. Water and refreshments will be available at the finish line. Parking is available on the east and west sides of the Elks. Results will be posted through Starved Rock Runners, RunSignUp, and Racing Expectations. No refunds are offered; if the event is canceled, entries are treated as donations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
