Brecon Carreg Porthcawl 10K
The Brecon Carreg Porthcawl 10K is part of the R4W 10K Series and is staged in the seaside town of Porthcawl, a location noted for surf, sports and coastal walks. The race runs on closed roads and follows a seaside route that passes several local landmarks, including Rest Bay, Trecco Bay, Coney Bay, the town centre, the Grand Pavilion and Porthcawl Lighthouse.
The event day includes a range of sporting activities for families and children, among them a Family Fun Run aimed at younger participants. Previous editions have featured a red arrow fly past and a programme of supporting activity on the same day.
Photos and videos from past races are available from organisers and media galleries, documenting the route and race day. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 5 July 2026. The event is presented as part of a summer series of races organised by Run 4 Wales and involves local partners and community organisations.
