Office Olympics 5K & Dunder Dash

The Office Olympics 5K & Dunder Dash takes place at Legacy Park in Norman. This event is the second race in the 2026 Norman Parks & Rec Run Series and is held on a Saturday in May. The gathering focuses on office-themed fun and community participation, encouraging attendees to display their office spirit. Participants have the choice of two primary distances:

  • 5k
  • Dunder Dash

Registration fees for these events include a customized race bib and a finisher medal. For those participating in the 5k, the bib includes a timing tag for official tracking. Individuals also have the option to add a race t-shirt to their registration while supplies are available.

The event is designed to be inclusive, allowing participants of various paces and abilities. The venue at the city park includes general accessibility features, and the organizers permit the use of strollers and participation with dogs. Following the completion of the races, a finish line party is held featuring the Office Olympics, where participants can compete for prizes and engage in various activities.

The race supports the Chris Kennedy Literacy Foundation Fund. This charity partner provides grants to small libraries throughout Oklahoma to assist with funding for literacy resources. Pre-race packet pickup is organized at Beanstalk Coffee & Sno in the days leading up to the event, with onsite pickup also available on the day of the race.
