O'Fallon Firecracker Run : 42nd Annual
The O'Fallon Chamber of Commerce hosts the 42nd Annual Firecracker Run on July 4, 2026 at 900 TR Hughes Boulevard, O'Fallon, Missouri. The event includes multiple race distances, a Business Expo, and a Runners Only Area. Finishers receive a commemorative t-shirt and a finisher medal.

- 5K
- 10K
- 1 Mile Fun Run
5K and 10K finishers will receive live text results, personalized results emails, and a free video of their finish line moment. Pricing for the 5K and 10K is tiered by date: $36 through December 31, $38 January 1 through May 15, $42 May 16 through June 15, and $46 June 16 through July 4. Pricing for the 1 Mile Fun Run is $26 through December 31, $28 January 1 through May 15, $32 May 16 through June 15, and $36 June 16 through July 4. Packet pickup is available at the O'Fallon Chamber Offices on Thursday, July 2 (8:30am to 7:00pm) and Friday, July 3 (8:00am to 2:00pm). On race day packet pickup is available at CarShield Field on July 4 (5:30am to 7:00am).
Awards will be given to top overall male and female finishers and to top age group finishers in both the 5K and 10K, with separate age group categories. Awards are also planned for the top stroller finishers. The event relies on a volunteer team of nearly 200 people for roles such as Runners Only Area staffing, course guidance for the Fun Run, and water stations.
