Event Information
The O'Fallon Firecracker Run is hosted by the O'Fallon Chamber of Commerce. It is an annual event taking place on July 4th. The 2026 event will be its 42nd edition.
Distances
The event features three different distances:
- A 5K run
- A 10K run
- A 1 Mile fun run
Registration and Pricing
Registration prices for the 5K and 10K start at $36 and increase in stages, reaching $46 just before the event. Registration for the 1 Mile fun run starts at $26 and increases to $36. Processing fees are included in the displayed price.
Participant Perks
All participants receive a commemorative t-shirt. 5K and 10K finishers also receive a finisher medal. These finishers get live text results, a personalized results email, and a free video of their finish line moment. The event includes a Business Expo and access to a "Runners Only Area."
Logistics
The event is held at 900 TR Hughes Boulevard in O'Fallon, Missouri. Packet pickup is available at the O'Fallon Chamber offices on July 2nd and 3rd, or at CarShield Field on the morning of July 4th.
Awards
Awards are given for the 5K and 10K races. Both distances award the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three male and female finishers in various age groups.
