O'Fallon Firecracker Run
The O'Fallon Chamber of Commerce hosts the 42nd Annual Firecracker Run on July 4, 2026, at 900 TR Hughes Boulevard in O'Fallon, Missouri. The event offers race options in multiple distances and includes on-site activities.
Available distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 1 Mile Fun Run
Participants receive a commemorative t-shirt and a finisher medal. The event includes a Business Expo and a designated Runners Only Area. 5K and 10K finishers are provided live text results, personalized results emails, and free video of their finish line moment.
Packet pickup is offered at the O'Fallon Chamber offices on Thursday, July 2 (8:30am-7:00pm) and Friday, July 3 (8:00am-2:00pm). Race-morning pickup is available at CarShield Field on July 4 (5:30am-7:00am).
Awards are given in the 5K and 10K. Both races present top-three overall male and female awards and top-three male and female awards within specified age groups. Awards are also presented to the top three stroller finishers in each race.
The event reports nearly 200 volunteers are involved, with volunteer roles including the Runners Only Area, Fun Run course guides, and water station support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
