OctoberFit 5K/10K - Wichita, KS
Planet Fitness Wichita stages the OctoberFit event on October 24, 2026. The event includes in-person road races and a virtual option, and proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Club of South Central Kansas. Registration and fee options vary by race.

- Virtual 5K or 10K option
The start and finish are at 2101 W Sim Park Dr, Wichita, located near the Wichita Art Museum along Museum Blvd/West Sim Park Dr. Parking is available at the address above and at the Botanica parking lot just east of the start and finish area. Course maps are available and all courses return to the start and finish line. The course will be well marked and include guides.
Packet pickup is scheduled from Monday October 20 through Thursday October 23 at the Planet Fitness Normandie location, 6592 E Central Ave, Wichita, KS 67206. Packets are also available for pickup the morning of the event. All racers receive an OctoberFit race t-shirt, a participation medal, and a goodie bag.
Prize awards include gift card payouts for overall 1st through 3rd places in the 5K and 10K. A costume contest is held for individuals or couples with a $150 gift card awarded to the winning entry and winners announced after the race.
