Planet Fitness Wichita OctoberFit 5K/10K
Planet Fitness Wichita organizes the OctoberFit races on October 24, 2026, at the workout park located at 2101 W Sim Park Dr, Wichita, KS 67203. The event offers in-person road races and a virtual option.

The event is presented in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of South Central Kansas and directs proceeds to support the club and its programs. The course begins and ends at the start/finish location and is described as well marked with guides. Parking is available at 2101 W Sim Park Dr and at the Botanica parking lot just east of the start/finish area. Course maps are available.
Entry fees listed are $33.00 for the 5K, $36.00 for the 10K, and $25.00 for the virtual 5K/10K. Packet pickup is scheduled from October 20 to October 23 at the Planet Fitness Normandie location, 6592 E Central Ave, Wichita, KS, and packets are also available the morning of the event.
All participants receive an OctoberFit race t-shirt, a participation medal, and a goodie bag. Overall prizes for each in-person race are cash gift cards for the top three finishers: 1st $150, 2nd $75, 3rd $25. A costume contest is included with a $150 gift card awarded to the winning individual or couple. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
