2026 Zydeco Marathon

The 2026 Zydeco Marathon is a two-day running event in downtown Lafayette, Louisiana, held on March 7-8, 2026. The event offers multiple distance options and includes a Finish Line Festival with live music, food, and drinks at Parc International, 200 Garfield Street, Lafayette. The race is hosted by Funraisers for St Jude Inc., and all proceeds from the 2026 event will go to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.

• Distances offered: 26.2 miles, 13.1 miles, team relay, 5K, 1 mile fun run.

Courses for the marathon and half marathon are USATF sanctioned and USATF certified for accuracy; the event is listed as a qualifying race for other events that require official qualifying times. Several events and divisions are available, including Ainsley's Angels runner and rider categories and combo entries that pair a Sunday distance with the Saturday 5K.

Packet pickup is scheduled on March 6 and March 7 at locations to be determined. Late registration is available at packet pickup; packet pickup is the last chance to register and February 13, 2026 is the deadline to be guaranteed a race shirt with registration. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. A deferral option is available for a fee, and deadlines apply for event upgrades and downgrades.

Race operations: chip timing is used for most timed events, hydration stations are spaced at about 1.5 mile intervals, courses are marked with signage and cones, volunteers and traffic control officers staff the route, medical staff are located at the finish area, and EMS services are notified in advance.
