Zydeco Marathon 2027
The Zydeco Marathon is a two day running event in Lafayette, Louisiana held at Parc International on March 6 and March 7, 2027. The weekend offers multiple distance options across Saturday and Sunday with packet pickup available the days before the main races. Sunday features the full marathon, half marathon and a half marathon team relay while Saturday includes shorter community events.

- 26.2 mile Full Marathon
- 13.1 mile Half Marathon
- Half Marathon 2 person Team Relay
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- Ainsley’s Angels Marathon runners
- Ainsley’s Angels Half Marathon runners
- Ainsley’s Angels 5K runners
Full, half and relay events are chip timed by Pelican Timing. The 1 mile fun run is not timed. Age minimums apply for longer distances and event specific rules require photo identification to pick up race packets. Packet pickup is the last opportunity to register and there is no race day registration on Sunday. Entry fees are non refundable and non transferable. A deferral option is available for a fee with restrictions.
Courses are USATF sanctioned and certified which allows official qualifying times for events such as the Boston Marathon. The planning team reports marked routes, volunteers and traffic control, hydration stations approximately every 1.5 miles, on site medical staff at the finish and EMS notified in advance. All proceeds from Zydeco Marathon 2027 will go to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital through Funraisers for St Jude Inc. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
