Oceanic Khorfakkan Triathlon 26/27 Series
The Oceanic Khorfakkan Triathlon 26/27 Series is a two race multisport event held in Khorfakkan and organised by Oceanic Hotel in cooperation with Sharjah Sports Council and Endurance Sports Services. The series dates are 1 November 2026 and 14 March 2027. Registration opens on 14 June 2026.
The race follows a swim, bike, run format. The swim takes place in calm waters of the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. The bike section runs through city roads that are described as virtually traffic free and are manned by Sharjah Police. The run is held on the new jogging track of the Khorfakkan Corniche. The venue is about a 90 minute drive from Dubai and organisers describe the route as easy and smooth.
Distances and entry formats include:
- Olympic distance
- Sprint distance
- Super Sprint distance
- Junior Super Sprint distance
Mixed relay teams of two or three athletes are welcome.
A race village will offer sporting goods, bike mechanics, coffee and refreshments. Participant entries include a certificate, medal, photo service or download, timing, refreshments, breakfast for all participants, a T shirt and a swim cap. An awards breakfast voucher is included for all athletes; additional guest tickets are chargeable with set prices in AED.
