Oceanic Khorfakkan Triathlon Series - Race 2 of 2
The Oceanic Khorfakkan Triathlon Series is organized by the Oceanic Hotel in cooperation with the Sharjah Sports Council and Endurance Sports Services. Located in Khorfakkan, approximately a 90-minute drive from Dubai, this event features a course that utilizes the natural landscape of the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean coastline.
The competition begins with a swim in open water, followed by a cycling segment on roads through the city. These roads are managed by the Sharjah Police to ensure they remain virtually traffic-free during the event. The final leg consists of a run on the jogging track located along the Khorfakkan Corniche. The route includes rolling hills and is designed with smooth surfaces.
Participants can choose from several distances and formats:
- Olympic
- Sprint
- Super Sprint
- Junior Super Sprint
- Relay teams (mixed teams of 2 or 3 athletes)
The event includes a race village providing access to sporting goods, bike mechanics, coffee, and refreshments. Participants receive a breakfast, a T-shirt, a swim cap, a medal, and a certificate. Timing services and a photo service for downloads are also provided. Registration for the event closes on April 18, 2026, or earlier if the maximum capacity is reached.
