Ocean Running Club's Pine Beach 5k

Distances
The event offers three distances:
- 5K Run
- 1 mile
- 5K RUCK (a weighted carry event)
Course & Location
The course takes place on roads in the beachside town of Pine Beach, New Jersey. It is described as mostly flat. The start, finish, and event hub is at Vista Park.
Registration & Discounts
Online registration is available until the morning of the race. A discount is offered for registrations completed before February 14th. Members of the Ocean Running Club receive a $5 discount on registration. A bundle discount of 15% per event is available for those who also register for the club's October race.
Awards & Amenities
For the 5K Run, awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups. The 1 mile event has finisher awards and overall male/female awards, but no age group awards. The 5K RUCK awards the first male and first female finishers; all RUCK finishers receive a patch. A t-shirt is included with 5K registration for those who register by June 11th. Two official water stops are on the course, with water also available at the finish.
Logistics
Check-in and packet pickup begin at Vista Park. Parking is available in two designated lots and on side streets. Restroom facilities (portable toilets) are located in the park, but not along the course route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
