About the race
The Ocean Grove Running Festival is a running event on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula, scheduled for Sunday, 22 November 2026. Races start and finish at the Ocean Grove Hotel, with a central event precinct for pack collection, merchandise and post-race food and refreshments.
The festival offers four race distances:
- 21.1 km Half Marathon
- 10 km Run
- 5 km Run
- 1 km Kids Race for young participants
Courses are described as flat and accessible, routed through Ocean Grove and nearby areas before returning to the finish precinct at the Ocean Grove Hotel. The 1 km Kids Race is untimed, allows parents to run alongside younger children at no extra charge, and focuses on participation with a finisher medal and spot prizes.
Each participant receives a race bib with an integrated timing chip and an official finisher medal upon crossing the finish line. Water and sports drink stations will be positioned on course and at the finish. Event facilities include toilets, first aid, clothing bag drop and bike parking. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each age category for the 5 km, 10 km and half marathon, and spot prizes will be awarded in the kids race.
