Obstacle Wonderland : Rise of the Obstacles (May 30-31, 2026)
Rise of the Obstacles is a two-day event at Obstacle Wonderland in Wallkill, NY, featuring adult and kids obstacle course races on a permanent outdoor course. The program includes sprint-style and endurance-format races with a mix of walls, rigs, crawls, carries, and balance challenges placed on trail and field terrain.

Sprint heats offer two attempts with the fastest time counting. The endurance event runs over two laps with repeated passes through rigs and field obstacles; trail sections are used to test pacing and recovery. Kids heats include age-appropriate obstacles and course staff support; children under 6 may run with parent assistance and will not be timed.
Awards and extras include finisher medals for all racers, podium awards for top overall male and female and first in each age group, and additional swag for some events. The Teddy Bear Crawl Foundation will be on site as a nonprofit partner; custom medals are available for donations of $5 or more. A Wonderland Maker Studio fundraiser will offer 3D printed items to support youth programs. The site provides event parking with guidance, and portable restrooms near tier-one parking.
