ARF 5K Run & Walk with the Dogs
The event takes place on May 17, 2026 at Memorial Park on Robert Cahill Drive in Beacon, NY. It marks the Animal Rescue Foundation's 40th anniversary and directs 100% of event proceeds to the rescue and care of animals. The event offers in-person and virtual options and uses professionally timed races with chipped running bibs.

Dogs are welcome in the in-person 5K if they are non-aggressive, current on vaccinations, and leashed at all times; retractable and bungy-style leashes are prohibited. Each adult participant may accompany one dog, which will receive an event dog tag. Dogs are not permitted in the 1K Kids Fun Run. Strollers are allowed only on the 5K course. The event is rain or shine and non-refundable. Participants who donate or raise at least $100 by April 30 receive an event t-shirt, and fundraising milestones earn additional prizes. A post-race celebration includes awards, music, games, face painting, vendor exhibits, and raffles.
