Oberlin Monster Mash Dash 5k Fun Run (2026)
The 6th Annual Oberlin Monster Mash Dash is an untimed and unsupported fun run held on October 31, 2026 in Oberlin, Ohio. The course covers 3.1 miles and begins and ends in Tappan Square at the corner of Main and College. The event is free to enter and open to participants of all ages.
Participants are invited to wear Halloween costumes. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the kids division (under 13); and Best Family Costume. Eligibility for costume prizes requires race participation.
After the run there is a Halloween afterparty at Black River, located at 15 S. Main St. People who do not run may walk, skate, bike, or remain at the finish area to watch and cheer. The event is explicitly opposed to racist Halloween costumes; wearing such a costume results in immediate disqualification. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
