Event overview
Oakwood24 is an annual fundraiser for Healing Transitions held on Saturday, November 22, 2025. The event moved from Oakwood Cemetery to Lakeside Retreats after seven years at the cemetery. Proceeds benefit Healing Transitions programs that provide recovery, shelter, and peer-support services, and the event has raised over $1,000,000 to date. The 2025 fundraising goal is $300,000. The event includes a Remembrance Hour on Saturday morning to honor those who have lost their lives to the disease of addiction.
Course and format
The event is an official timed ultra run with distance, time, and relay options. It is also open to noncompetitive participants who wish to run, walk, bike, or join for a few miles. Relay team registration is managed through a team captain. The course is a flat, 2 mile loop around a lake on unpaved trails and dirt country roads, passing cow pastures and mature hardwoods.
