2026 Oak Ridges Moraine Adventure Relay
The Oak Ridges Moraine Adventure Relay is a team adventure race that traverses the landscape of the Oak Ridges Moraine in Ontario. The event takes place on June 13, 2026. It offers two race formats.
The Full Relay covers approximately 160 km and combines canoeing, biking, and running. It starts with a canoe leg on Rice Lake and heads west across the moraine to York Region. Teams can have up to 15 members.
The Half Relay covers approximately 90 km and covers the first half of the main route, without the canoe leg. Teams can have up to 7 members.
Each team is entered in either an Elite or Recreational division. Elite teams are timed on the total "gun time" from the start. Recreational teams are timed on the summed total time of each leg, with more flexible changeovers.
The event is a fundraiser for the Oak Ridges Trail Association, supporting trail maintenance. The exact 2026 route is still being finalized, but it is expected to be similar to the 2025 course, featuring bike stages totaling ~95 km of mixed trail and road riding, and run/hike stages totaling ~55 km of rolling trail terrain.
