OAH STRIDES 4th Annual Race and Family Fun Day
OAH STRIDES is a single-day community event on October 17, 2026, at Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center in Simsbury, CT. The event combines timed running events with a family-oriented festival that includes live music, a DJ, inflatables, a dunk tank, food vendors, and other activities.
The running program includes multiple distances:
- 10K run
- 5K run/walk
- 1 Mile kids fun run
Race entries include an official OAH STRIDES t-shirt and access to the Family Fun Day. Registration pricing for the 5K and 10K is tiered: early registration, a higher fee after September 1st, and a race day fee. The Kids Fun Run has a separate registration fee. A Family Fun Day only pass is available at the door for a separate fee and provides access to entertainment and activities.
T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register at least two weeks before the event. Proceeds support programs and initiatives that promote wellness, accessibility, inclusion, and community connection in Greater Hartford. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
