Event overview
The O4W5K takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood of Atlanta, GA 30308. The event benefits Hope-Hill Elementary, the traditional K-5 public school serving the O4W neighborhood. The course runs through the streets of the historic Old Fourth Ward, starting across the street from Ponce City Market at the base of Historic Old Fourth Ward Park and passing along Auburn Avenue in the MLK Jr. Historic District.

Entry fees listed are $30 for the 5K and virtual 5K, and $20 for the Kids Fun Run. The standard price increases after December 31, 2025. Registration for the virtual 5K opens December 30, 2025; registration for the Kids Fun Run opens January 11, 2026. Packet pick-up is available May 9 (location to be determined) or May 10 at Historic Old Fourth Ward near the intersection of Angie Ave NE and North Ave; specific pick-up times are provided by the organizer.
Additional notes: t-shirt guarantee requires signing up by April 10; some sizes may be limited and organizers may offer alternate or "vintage" shirts if needed. A course map is available on MapMyRun.
