NYRR Midnight Run
The NYRR Midnight Run is a multi-category running event held in Central Park, Manhattan. Participants celebrate the transition into the new year by completing a 4-mile course that begins as the clock strikes midnight. The event features a fireworks display that illuminates the sky at the start of the race.

The race is a scored event and provides credit toward the NYRR 9+1 program, which allows members to qualify for the New York City Marathon. Participants receive a winter accessory as a souvenir for the event. Results and runner tracking are available through a dedicated mobile application, with official results posted online after the conclusion of the race.
Awards are presented on-site to the top three finishers in the overall men, women, and nonbinary divisions. Registrants may also apply for age-group awards following the competition. The organizer provides various accessibility services, including accommodations for athletes with disabilities and the option to request guide or support runners.
