NYRR Fred Lebow Half
The NYRR Fred Lebow Half is a winter half marathon held in Central Park, Manhattan on January 24, 2027. The course comprises two loops of Central Park’s Ted Corbitt Loops. The event is scored and serves as a 9+1 program qualifier; it is open to runners aged 16 and older.
The race includes on-course support from a pace team and a Maurten Gel Depot for fueling. Pace team members wear blue-and-white singlets and orange-and-blue back flags showing target finish times; pacers aim to hit their target finish time 96.5% of the time. All participants receive a warm winter pom beanie and finisher medals.
Competition details include awards for the top three overall finishers in the men, women, and nonbinary divisions, and age-group awards that can be claimed after the race. Prize money is offered to top finishers with equal amounts across men, women, and nonbinary categories; additional prize structures exist for the NYRR Member Division 40+ and time-based bonuses for qualifying performances.
