NYPD Memorial 5K Run/Walk 2027
The NYPD Memorial 5K Run/Walk is a community road event held in Manhattan. The course begins at Liberty Street and West Street and finishes on West Street within a block of the start. Pre and post race amenities and in person bib pickup are located on Liberty Street between South End Avenue and West Street.
A pre race memorial service is held at the NYC Police Memorial Wall near the Battery Park City Esplanade and Liberty Street. Registration is not yet open and will open ahead of the event date. Past registration packages have included an event t shirt, a personalized bib, and a memorial towel listed for 2026.
Packet pickup options include an in person pre race pickup at the Midtown South Police Precinct at 357 W 35th Street and a day of race pickup on Liberty Street between South End Avenue and West Street. Virtual entries receive shipped packets.
Awards are given by top three male and female overall, top three male and female law enforcement, masters 40 and over, law enforcement masters 40 and over, and age group awards across standard 5 year brackets from 14 and under through 70 and over. The event benefits the Metro New York Chapter of Concerns Of Police Survivors C.O.P.S. and supports surviving families and affected co workers of officers who died in the line of duty.
