NYPD Memorial 5K Run/Walk
The NYPD Memorial 5K Run/Walk is presented as an annual memorial event in Manhattan. The course begins on Liberty Street and West Street and finishes on West Street within a block of the start. Pre- and post-race amenities, including bib pickup, are located on Liberty Street between South End Avenue and West Street. A USATF certified course map is available.
Registration for the listed event is not yet open; information from a prior year (May 17, 2026) and related results are provided. Packet pickup options include an in-person pre-race pickup at a Midtown South precinct location the day before the race and day-of-race pickup near the start area. Virtual entries receive shipped packets within a window from one week before to one week after the event.
The event lists awards for top finishers overall, top law enforcement finishers, masters (40 and over) and law enforcement masters, plus age-group awards from youth through 70 and older. There will be no duplication of awards; law enforcement awards take precedence over other awards except overall winners when registrants identify as law enforcement.
The NYPD Running Club partners with the Metro New York chapter of Concerns Of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), and proceeds support that organization.
