NYPD Memorial 5K Run/Walk - 24th Annual
The NYPD Memorial 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for May 17, 2026 in Manhattan at Liberty Street and West Street. The event offers both in-person and virtual 5K options. The race course begins at Liberty Street and West Street and finishes on West Street within a block of the start; the course is USATF certified. Pre- and post-race amenities and packet pick-up are located on Liberty Street between South End Avenue and West Street.
Registration includes an event T-shirt, a personalized bib and a 2026 memorial towel. Participants may order a personalized bib to honor a hero if registered by April 26. Additional commemorative bibs are available for purchase and are no longer offered after May 4. Virtual entries are mailed; the shipping window runs from one week prior to one week after the event. Registration fees are non-refundable.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers, top three male and female law enforcement finishers, top three male and female masters (40 and over), and top three male and female law enforcement masters. Age group awards are offered for standard age brackets from 14 and under through 70 and over. There will be no duplication of awards and law enforcement awards take precedence except for overall winners.
