About the race
NYCRUNS Frozen Penguin 5K takes place in Central Park, New York. This chilly winter 5K offers a USATF-certified course. The route begins near 89th Street on West Drive, proceeds south to 72nd, then heads north up East Drive, finishing at the 102nd Street Crossing.
Hydration stations and bathrooms are available around Mile 2, with medical support along the course. The event features a pace-based corrals system, two-race promos, and a post-race festival area with swag: a shirt and a finishers medal, plus fruit and a bagel.
