Course, amenities and policies
The course begins near 89th Street on West Drive, heads south and turns at 72nd Street, then continues north on East Drive and finishes at the 102nd Street Crossing. A hydration station and bathrooms are located just before Mile 2. Medical assistance is available along the course.
Race-day services include bag check (single clear bag required), on-course water and electrolyte fluids, cans of smartwater at the finish, post-race fruit and a bagel, and race shirts and finishers medals distributed on race day; singlet sizes are limited. Bibs are available for pick up in the Festival Area on race day; members can opt to have bibs mailed if they register at least 20 days before the event and use a U.S. mailing address. Handcycle and Wheelchair divisions are supported and can be set in the runner profile.
Results will be emailed and posted online after the race. Awards are given to the top three male, female, and non-binary runners overall by gun time, with age-group awards by net time for the listed age categories. The event follows a no-refunds, no-transfers policy; NYCRUNS members may withdraw for race credit. Strollers and dogs are not allowed.
