NYCRUNS Central Park Half Marathon
The NYCRUNS Central Park Half Marathon is an annual 13.1 mile looped race run entirely in Central Park, New York. All NYCRUNS courses are USATF certified. Start corrals are assigned by letter (AA through F) and are determined by the pace listed in a runner’s NYCRUNS dashboard; each runner’s corral will be noted on the bib.
The event offers several race day amenities. A bag check is available with a single clear bag provided if needed (18 x 24); staff reserve the right to search bag contents. Portable bathrooms are located in the festival area and along the course. Participant shirts are distributed on race day only and sizes are not guaranteed. Finishers receive a medal at the finish line. Race photos are shared via email and a free photo download is available for eligible images; discounted photo packages can be purchased in advance.
Bibs are available for pick up in the festival area on race day with a unique QR code from a runner’s NYCRUNS dashboard. NYCRUNS members may have bibs mailed at no cost; non-members can add mailing for an extra fee subject to registration timing and U.S. mailing rules.
Results are emailed and posted online. Awards are given to the top three overall male, female, and nonbinary finishers by gun time and to top three in each age group by chip time. The race is a qualifying event for the NYCRUNS Local Elite Athlete Program and follows standard no refunds and no transfers policies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
