About the race
The 2026 NYC Stadion Spartan Event Weekend takes place at New York Stadium in City Center, about 20 minutes outside Manhattan. The Stadion 5K features 20 obstacles, with a companion Kids Race of 1–1.5 km on Saturday. Runners sprint through stadium bleachers, scale 8‑ft walls, and confront a slate of tests including Atlas Carry (100 lb stone for men, 75 lb for women), box jumps, cord crawl, gauntlet, Hercules Hoist, monkey bars, multi‑rig, rope climb, sandbag carry, slam ball, spear throw and walls.
