Event overview
The Nutty Runner 5k is held in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with a start and finish at Columbus House Brewery, 701 W North St. The event offers two entry options: the Nutty Runner division, which includes drinking during the race, and the Designated Driver division, which does not include drinking. The Nutty Runner course covers a total of 3 miles, completed as three laps of a 1.05 mile loop.
Course and logistics
The loop begins and ends on the brewery back patio and follows a mix of gravel drive, trail sections, and local streets (Willis Ave, W Cleveland St, Whitham Ave, Taylor St, Douglas). The course is an open course shared with bikes, walkers, dogs, and cars; runners are asked to use sidewalks where available. There is no parking at Columbus House Brewery on race day; downtown lots and public parking at Wilson Park are suggested alternatives.
Rules, facilities and awards
Participants in the drinking division must present valid ID to receive a wristband; no ID means no wristband and no drinking. Anyone who appears intoxicated at check-in will not be allowed to participate and will not receive a refund. Friendly dogs on short leashes and strollers are permitted. Top male and female finishers in each category will receive a Columbus House Brewery gift card. Entry fees listed are $45 for the Nutty Runner and $35 for the Designated Driver.
