About the race
The Frozen Toes Trail Race is an annual cold‑weather running event held in January at Kessler Mountain Regional Park in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The event offers trail running options on singletrack routes that start and finish at the Kessler Mountain Baseball Complex.
Distances offered:
- 5K trail course
- 15K trail course
Registration fees listed for the event period are $35 for adult entries in either distance and $15 for youth 5K entries. Race shirts are available for an additional fee. Entry registration has a defined window from September 1 through January 21 for the listed race year. Standard registration items include custom event socks and a finisher medal; the event also provides hot soup and a complimentary beer to participants.
Course and event details note that both routes are approximately 95% singletrack and that the 15K contains several technical sections. Aid and postrace offerings include fruit, bagels, soup, water, sports drink, coffee, and hot cocoa. Heated restrooms are available for changing.
