Frozen Toes 5K & 15K
The Frozen Toes 5K & 15K is an annual cold-weather trail running event held at Kessler Mountain Regional Park. The courses are mainly singletrack; the 15K contains a number of technical sections. The start and finish are located at the Kessler Mountain Baseball Complex.

Registration fees are listed as $35 for adult entry in either distance and $15 for youth entry in the 5K. Registration is shown to run from September 1 through January 21; for the 2027 race registration opens September 1, 2026. Registration includes custom event socks, a finisher medal, soup, a complimentary beer for participants 21 and older, and other amenities; race shirts are available for purchase for an additional fee.
Packet pick up is provided at a Fayetteville Parks office the day before the race and at Kessler Mountain on race morning. Timing is provided by a race timing service with live results and an onsite results board, and official event photos are taken. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and top three in each age group.
On-course provisions include fruit, bagels, soup, water, sports drink options, coffee, and hot cocoa. Heated restrooms are available for changing, and organizers encourage carrying a phone on course in case assistance is needed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
